Revelation: the last book in our Bible
It has terrified many believers and nonbelievers alike, resulting in many end-of-the-world movies and books. People tend to over simplify, wrongly interpret, or ignore this book all together. I believe that God gave us this revelation to understand it, not shy away from it. However, to truly study it and understand it, we need to have a good background in the rest of the bible and a good teacher. From what I've seen so far Stephen Armstrong was a
great teacher. Join Paul and me on this deep dive into the book of Revelation. The teaching sessions are short videos (20 min), but there are 87 of them. He literally goes verse by verse explaining things and putting it all in context from the rest of the bible that is needed for comprehension. We will start by discussing three sessions a week 1 hour of video) until the
content gets too complicated to move at that pace. The videos are all on the Right Now Media app that we all have access to courtesy of Genesis Church. It can be loaded to your phones and/or your smart TVs. There is also a book that goes along with the videos that you can order from Amazon for $30, get the kindle version for $1, or download the 600+ pages from Right Now Media for free. We will expect you to watch the videos on your own
time, so we can spend our bible study time unpacking, clarifying, and discussing the information. The book has 3 sections for each video: a list of questions that pertain to the video; discussion questions that make you think; and a deep dive section for anyone wanting
more information.
