Chris Miller is the founding pastor of Genesis Church. Chris is a second-generation church planter who has a desire to communicate Biblical truths in a creative way people can understand. Chris has a Bachelors degree in theological studies from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Chris and Heidi have been blessed with four children: Anna Belle, Eli, Jian, and Emma Claire. As the congregation continues to move forward, please keep Pastor Chris, Heidi, Anna Belle, Eli, Jian and Emma Claire in your prayers.

Javier Ramirez joined the staff of Genesis Church in March 2021. He's passionate about worship and music . He also runs our website and app while also helping  run our social media and with graphic designs. Javier is currently in seminary and close to getting his pastoral certificate. When he isn't planning out services, Javier loves to spend time with family and friends and is obsessed with all things Marvel.

Melissa Scruggs joined the Genesis Church staff in October 2021. She holds a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and also a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  As our Dream Team Director, she helps people discover their spiritual gifts and plug them into service areas they are passionate about in our church. Melissa has been married to Jon for 9 years.  She loves to read books on her free time.

Anna Belle is Pastor Chris' oldest daughter and began serving when she was 12. She started serving in 2013 playing keys in the youth band and moved up to playing keys on Sunday morning. Anna Belle came on staff in 2019 as a graphic designer and video editor. She also runs our website and social media accounts. She serves every Sunday morning on stage playing the piano. Anna Belle loves drawing, and spending time with Rambo the family Morkie.

Sally Rice serves as the office manager at Genesis Church. She is a founding member along with her family. Sally has been married for seventeen years to Bud and has three children: Madie, Cameron, and Spencer. She loves spending time with her family and church.
